    barrique are not evil? Who say? For me in Barolo wines are really Evil. No barrique, evviva il Barolo vero!

    Franco, I used to think that too and still think 90% of the time nebbiolo in barrique is evil. However, there are exceptions and those with lighter hands. Andrea Sottimano convinced me it could be done with his lovely barrique aged Barbaresci. I admit they are the exception to the rule.
